Q: Is there an application fee?
A: Yes.  Eastridge Apartments runs a full criminal background check and credit check on all applicants.  There is a $35 charge for this service.  The application fee covers the cost of up to two applicants.

Q: What disqualifies an applicant?
A: Eastridge Apartments is in the business of providing safe and comfortable accommodations.  For this reason applicants will not be approved if they:

  • Smoke or have smoked in the past twelve (12) months.
  • Have been convicted of a violent crime including but not limited to battery, theft, burglary, robbery, murder, rape, assault, or resisting arrest.
  • Have had any illegal substance related convictions.
  • Are on the sex offender registry.
  • Have spent time in jail or prison in the past six months for any reason.

Q: What do I have to pay to move in?
A: In most cases new residents must pay the security deposit plus the reminder of the first month’s rent at time of move in.  For example, if you were moving into a unit that leases for $495\month, you would need to pay $274.5 in rent and plus the security deposit.  If residents have unfavorable credit they may be required to pay the last month’s rent up front or provide a cosigner for the account.  If the last month’s rent is required it will be applied after five (5) months of positive rental history with Eastridge Apartments

Q: Is there a minimum income requirement?
A: Applicants must gross at minimum $990\month to qualify for a single bedroom unit, or $790\month to qualify for a studio unit.  Applicants who don’t meet these income requirements may still quality if they provide a cosigner for their account.

Q: Can the deposit be made in multiple payment?
A: The security deposit must be paid in full at time of move in.

Q: Are pets allowed?
A: No pets are allowed. Certified service animals are permitted.

Q: Do you allow smoking?
A: Eastridge Apartments is a no smoking community. We do not accept applicants who smoke or who have smoked in the past twelve (12) months. We do have some smoking residents who have been grandfathered in to our new policy. They are permitted to smoke, but they must smoke off of the property.

Q: How much does electricity cost?
A: Our high 12 month average is $65 per month. Our low 12 month average is $35 per month. Monthly costs vary depending on usage are are typically higher in the winter and lower in the summer.  Click here for current Rocky Mountain Power rates.

Q: Can I put a satellite dish on the building?
A: Eastridge does not allow any exterior fixtures on the building.

Q: Can I reserve a unit?
A: Eastridge Apartments will hold an apartment for a maximum of 7 days with a $100 holding deposit. If you choose to move in to the unit you’ve held, the $100 will go towards your first month’s rentsecurity deposit. If your application is not approved for any reason, the $100 will be refunded. If you choose not to move in, the $100 will be not be refunded. Individuals looking to reserve a unit longer that 7 days before move-in will need to sign a lease agreement and begin making payments.
